How to Get the Most Out of Your Free Consultation

Your home building consultation is the first step toward designing and building your new dream home, and we’re here to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Whether you're just starting to explore your options or you're ready to dive into the details, this meeting is designed to give you the answers and guidance you need. You can meet with us in person at our East Lyme, CT or Westerly, RI office or connect virtually via Zoom—either way, the conversation will be informative, low-pressure, and tailored to you.

What to Expect

During your consultation, you’ll meet with an experienced Building Consultant—the person who will guide you through our Building Process. This is your opportunity to:

📌 Get to know our team and how we work

📌 Discuss your goals, timeline, and budget

📌 Learn about pricing and the building process

📌 Ask any questions you may have

Most consultations last between 30 and 60 minutes, and we’ll tailor the conversation to your needs.

What to Bring

No preparation is required, but bringing a few key things can help you get even more out of your meeting:

✅ Land information (if you own property) – A survey or site plan can be especially helpful if your lot is small, coastal, or has unique features.

✅ Design ideas – Browsing our Floor Plans before your visit can help you identify styles, sizes, and features you like. Even if you’re not set on a plan, noting what catches your eye can be useful.

✅ A list of questions – We cover a lot of information, so jotting down any questions ahead of time ensures you don’t forget anything important.

✅ A general budget range – Even if you’re unsure, it’s helpful to start thinking about what’s comfortable for you. Some people find it useful to speak with a lender about construction loan options beforehand.

Whether you come with a full list of ideas or just want to explore possibilities, you’ll leave your consultation with valuable insights and a clear path forward.
