We offer our customers an extremely energy-efficient, eco-friendly, environmentally sustainable way to build a new dream home and have for over forty years. When you choose us to be your builder, you are investing in the comfort and safety of your family and environmental stewardship for future generations.
Our clients tell us how easy it is to heat and cool their new home. The Connecticut Valley Homes insulation package meets or exceeds all energy-related building codes. In addition, modular construction is inherently more energy-efficient due to a tighter building envelope with less air infiltration resulting in greater efficiency and monthly savings. Sustainably sourced materials like USA-made CAMBRIA® Quartz countertops are a standard feature. These countertops are made from responsibly mined quartz, which is crushed and then formed into a slab that is stronger and more resistant to bacteria than natural stone. We use AZEK® decking that is durable, low-maintenance, and made from recycled materials. In addition, we offer WaterSense low-flow faucets and toilets. Imagine using your water and knowing you're not only saving money and energy but helping the environment!
We build new homes exclusively using off-site construction methods. This state-of-the-art building method is also known as modular construction and provides tremendous value to our clients. Our homes are precision built in a climate-controlled factory setting to maximize quality while protecting your new home from undesirable weather conditions during construction. The efficient modular construction process maximizes purchasing power by buying building materials in substantial quantities. By utilizing waste-to-energy practices, non-useable building materials such as lumber scraps, cardboard, and wood pallets are used as fuel. This process provides heat to the factory while significantly reducing waste in the landfill. There are notably fewer construction vehicles and material deliveries at your home site, limiting disturbances to your land and neighborhood.
One of the top reasons clients choose us to be their builder is because we use environmentally safe and efficient construction methods. Construction materials are stored indoors and protected from damaging weather conditions. After leaving the climate-controlled factory environment, our modular homes are typically weather-tight within 24 hours after being placed on the foundation. Building materials start dry and stay dry, greatly reducing the chance of mold and mildew issues. In addition, we offer low VOC flooring to limit chemicals released into your home and improve air quality. And, if you own an electric vehicle or see one in your future, we can wire for a charging station or two leading to miles of memories for years to come.
At Connecticut Valley Homes, we are here to serve our clients today and tomorrow, building energy-efficient, sustainable homes designed for better living and a better world.
